History of the House

DI IORIO MONACO Maison founded in 2026 was born from the creative passion of two sisters, Samantha and Alicia DI IORIO, inspired by the strong women who have shaped the history of the Principality and driven by the desire to create unique shoes designed as true works of art.

From this desire came the first exceptional shoe house founded in Monaco. 

At the heart of every creation lies the soul of Monaco. More than an inspiration, it is a signature where elegance, a constant quest for excellence, and the Principality's art of living meet. This is why the Maison is proud to be distinguished by the official Monaco Brands license, which brings together the brands that embody the image of the Principality. 

The beauty of handmade

Each pair is born in an Italian workshop founded in 1962, where master artisans handcraft the shoe according to the most exacting traditional techniques. 

It is then adorned with Calais-Caudry lace, woven on Leavers looms, a centuries-old French lace-making heritage that only a few houses still know how to work. 

Italy gives the shoe its perfect fit. Calais gives it its poetry. Monaco gives it its name.

Beneath each pair, a pink sole: the House's discreet signature, known only to those who wear it.

Fairmont Monte Carlo - Flagship property

It is in the heart of Monaco, at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, that the history of DI IORIO MONACO takes root. 

In this iconic location in the Principality, the Maison opens its first boutique, which will become its flagship store. This founding address marks the beginning of a unique story. It remains the Maison's original home, a witness to its beginnings and the point of reference from which its universe unfolds. 

For those who cannot come to Monaco, the Maison comes to them: in-suite, at home, or on board, bringing a piece of Monaco to every corner of the world.
